Black & White Gallery was founded in New York in 2002. The first Gallery was a unique industrial indoor/outdoor ground floor space in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn - the breeding ground of emerging talent at that time. From the outset, the Gallery was committed to cultivating innovative young artists in the initial and more advanced phases of their careers exploring contemporary themes and concepts through multiple mediums. In 2006 the Gallery opened an additional space in Chelsea – again on the ground floor of an industrial building – Chelsea Terminal Warehouse. With the move came the opportunity to show the work of young artists associated with “Williamsburg” in a new context.
