The Charles Cowles Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition featuring abstract paintings and photographs by artists with whom we have worked over the years. These works represent many approaches taken in response to issues raised by the Abstract Expressionists: color, form and gesture. This group of painters and photographers represent the second and third wave of artists who continue to find vitality in abstraction.
