Eleven artists are participating in an exhibit of small-scale work that goes on view Thursday, December 10, at the Nabi Gallery in Chelsea. The show, Miniatures, will run through February 6. The gallery is at 137 West 25th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, and hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11-6.
The show, opening with a reception on December 10 from 6 to 8, includes drawings by Robert Pillsbury and Lewis Zacks, etchings by Nohra Barros, watercolors by Elsie Taliaferro Hill and Susan Sugar, mixed-media work by Ann Marie Heal and Roisin Bateman, and paintings by Kathy Buist, Younghee Choi Martin, Simon Gaon, and N.H. Stubbing.
The gallery's program of musical events continues, meanwhile, with a recital by Yuting Wu, cellist, and Bill McNally, pianist, on Monday, December 14 at 7 p.m. The program will include work by Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Shostakovich, and Popper.
