Rush Arts Gallery & Resource Center seeks to engage a dialogue reflecting the ideas and issues relevant to artists and audiences with thematically structured exhibitions by emerging artists. We assist in artists’ careers by providing a not-for-profit exhibition space in the heart of the Chelsea art district and are inclusive of all newly emerging in the art community in an effort to provide a broader dialogue and opportunity for more diversity among artists and audiences.

Rush Arts Gallery came into existence, as a simple gesture, to address some of the problems facing minority artists. The organization was founded to aid artists who were striving to excel within the art world, exhibit their artwork and share their accomplishments with others. Our focus was centered on facilitating the needs we faced in the community, by providing reputable venues to fulfill those desires. Giving this noteworthy initiative a springboard became the mission of our organization.
