Originally subordinate to the Bureau of Education, Taipei City Government, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum was transferred to Cultural Affairs Bureau when the Bureau was founded on November 6,1999. The Museum has departments of research, exhibition, acquisition and collection, education, general affairs and offices accounting, personnel, and governmental ethics.
