Viridian Artists, INC. is pleased to present an exhibition of recent paintings by Laura Guese.
Open vibrant and endless skies speak to the very heart and soul of human emotion. Laura Guese's first solo exhibition with Viridian Artists focuses on these infinite and haunting skies.
Drawing from her experiences growing up under the big skies of Colorado,, Ms. Guese creates large scale oil on canvas paintings purely by memory.
Ms. Guese says of her work: "The sky is ever changing and never duplicated. The feeling of insignificance is over whelming when observing it's shear scale. The atmosphere has the power evoke a full spectrum of true emotion, which I find fascinating. It is for these reasons i am obsessed with exploring the sky and atmosphere.
Laura Guese's work can be found in private, public and corporate collections including various hospitals that have acquired her paintings due to the healing and therapeutic nature of her art.
